To be honest I don't really like Link's new look it seems off putting.

Everyone's free to have their own preferences. In my case, I really like the "new" Link's design because is a little fresh (just a bit), but a LOOOOOVE the ponytail!!!, when I was kid and played Ocarina, I always thought that Link wear a ponytail under that hat and grew up with that thought. Then read the Manga and well... I just guessed well :V
So..ummm yeah! in brief for me it looks cool, like it. C:
