Beck & Tron from Tron: UprisingThe father-son relationship between Tron and Beck is like 60% of the reason I love this show.
Also, did anyone else notice Beck kinda' looks like Jet Bradley? I doubt that's a coincidence.

Oh, it's not just you. 2.0 may have been exiled from canon, but it looks like they stripped it for parts, big time. They've a pretty similar attitude and attack pattern (2.0 involves a lot of platforming and sneaking), and Jet's relationship with Alan is almost as rocky as Beck's is with Tron.
Trying to do a Legacy/2.0 patchwork, and figuring out how the characters of one would relate to the characters of the other. Jet never got a chance to meet Tron during his trip down the digital rabbit hole, and I have no idea how they'd react to each other. I'd imagine they'd scacre each other a bit.

Your work is the first that I'd seen acknowledging the paternal aspect of Tron, that air of father and son which he and Beck share. So, it is poignant, to me.
For a Program of his great history and virtually legendary undertakings, Tron had been beset by a terrible shadow of his past. It was never stated how long he had been in hiding from Clu's forces, nor how much time had passed since the imprisonment of Cyrus - or how deep those figurative scars were. It seems, ones strong enough to nearly match the physical scars he was left with.
This image of yours captures what a single moment can mean. For all of the stern nature of Tron, the simple calm expression and touching bow speak volumes about his newfound peace and hope ... For a Program whose name is synonymous with hope itself.

Yeah, I love the idea of Tron taking on the father/mentor role. He's just got that wisdom about him now, and it's nice to see him working with the next generation.
