Ah, I remember Chainfire and the anxiety it brought. Terry Goodkind is a master of emotion. This drawing accurately portrays that anxious feeling of Chainfire.

I've owned it since the day it got into stores, but I have only read the first chapter or so. I haven't read for recreation in oh so long.

Is just that I love Kahlan so much that everytime that I get the book to keep the reading, that's my feeling about it: Kahlan lost somewhere, alone, sad...

Those last three books made me so upset. I started to get turned off around book 6, when it became a giant anti-communism, anti-religion message. But, I had hope. I actually liked some of the grimness in the last three books because it made it really gripping. I won't give anything away, but the ending was incredibly disappointing for me, especially from a literary standpoint.

omg, I thought I was the only one that thought that Terry had something against communists!! While I was reading the 6th book I was like "Is this what I think it is? Nah, its just me..." But then it became bigger and bigger... I not even am a communist, but, I dont know, I dont thought it was something cool to do about it. I I think he distorted some things, according with what he thinks about it.
Now I am afraid for this ending, because even you being the first one that told me that didn't like the ending, you kinda think like me, so, now I'm afraid I wont like it...

The ending wasn't bad. It just lacked some epic-ness that I was hoping for. I guess it wasn't all that terrible if I think about it by itself.

Maybe, if I have more free time, I'll read it. I barely forced myself to finish Naked Empire; I really didn't like it, although I loved the other books. Maybe I'll like Chainfire and the other better.
