Finally, a drawing posted in… (stares at calender) 5 months… welp, no time for woulda, coulda, shoulda. It’s been an eternity since I got a chance to draw any of my OCs, so I wanted to try something out.

In an old drawing I did of the F.O.W.L agents, I used a minimum of 5 colors (or 2 colors if you don’t count black, white, and grey as colors), and I wanted to try something like that here. I decided to use at least one color for each character, mostly the signature colors for each characters, like Oliver's yellow-oranges, Xavier's purple, and Jamie's green. But it was a little trickier for Blake, Mason, and Lukia. Blake's color aside from black, is usually yellows or greens, but I settled for red to match his red iris. Mason's color scheme is mostly blues, yellows, and oranges, but his hair and wings are white. I settled for orange, but with red in it to keep it more distinct from Oliver's yellow-orange. And because I intentionally made Lukia as a rival to Oliver, her colors are a bit reversed. Her dress and stockings are black, and her ribbons are purple, but I decided to go for a more indigo color, to set her apart from Xavier's purple.

I think another reason I drew this is because I've been rewriting the first drafts I did for the first two chapters, simply because there were things in them that I thought could be done better, or explained better, especially the mentor-student dynamic between Xavier and Oliver, since a lot of it would be a big focus during the first saga of the story. Yes, I said saga, because I, for the most part, knew how I want it to start and end, but because I keep making new characters, new ideas keep getting inserted in, and I guess that works if I want a fully fleshed out world (or worlds) and story.
