Here it is! My first completely polished deviation in a loooooooong time. I have improved a lot when it comes to photoshop, but I'm still learning so please be kind.So anyway, here's Toph a.k.a the Blind Bandit. She is one of my many favourite characters from Avatar. This picture shows her earth bending and sensing the vibrations in the ground (the background's black 'cause she can't see the sky, by the way).
I put quite a lot of effort into this one so I hope you guys appreciate it.
(Ugh I hate drawing earth >.< ) It was supposed to be my deviation for 2000 pageviews, but I suppose I'm a bit late...

Wow, this is an amazing Deviation and it sounds like you're getting some really good feedback on this one!
I love how you did the sky black because she is blind; that is awesome and very symbolic. I'm a sucker for those kinds of things, so I just love how you did that.
The dynamics here are amazing; this is such a fun and awesome piece to look at. It's visually interesting and pleasing, and colored extremely well.

I just finished two major exams, and I finished all of my homework early, so I actually feel very inspired and accomplished right now; I feel like I have a huge load off me. It's a great feeling.
So maybe you could make a mini "to-do list" (one that has nothing to do with art), and then when you finish it, you can feel accomplished, and maybe that will get some gears in your head turning.

Yeah, that would probably be a good idea. (Especially since I'm a procrastinator... XD) Finishing projects early is my goal so I can get more of that drawing and inspiration time in. Unfortunately, once I finish one, there's another that gets assigned.

I try as much as possible to work art into my projects. Plus, I have art this semester. But it's a little hard to use art in classes like physics and programming. o.0

Oh man, I sure wish that homework didn't exist. XD I spent about five hours on my precal work yesterday, yet surprisingly it only took me an hour or so today.
I have a lot of free time; I think I might run upstairs to my dorm room and maybe scan something...!!!

Yeah, you're so lucky. You still manage to get deviations up no matter what, but when I get a chance to draw... it's my own characters. T.T I need a new obsession to inspire me!

I only get deviations up in my odd few minutes of free time... even though I technically should have no free time whatsoever and I should be studying to ace my exams- I have precal and chemistry exams next week! Dx I'm panicking about them, actually... I'm terrible at precal and while I like chemistry, I have a hard time learning stuff in that class because I can't see the board. T___T
Hmm... and as for a new obsession, might I suggest the Vampire Hunter D series? And if that's not up your alley, how about a new videogame series, such as Tales of Symphonia (if you haven't already played that)? Those are some of my top obsessions, besides Zelda and things like Final Fantasy VII and Castlevania.

GARGISHFARG! I'm glad you added the woosh effect for the rocks. It makes them look like they're really being tossed around. (As we in the animated business call a wipe) Toph's face also looks very on model! Great job!
