An awesome artist, recently commented on my "Humans as Ornaments " drawing, which reminded me that i wanted to draw those tendril-like things again.This time as the hair of a goddess!
And so i drew this lovely goddess here!
Inspired by another awesome artist, i decided to thicken the outlines of her body with the pen, rather than just leave them thin like i have been doing to this point, and i am quite proud of the effect!
This took 2 original Star Trek episodes, and 2 Next Generation episodes to draw, plus one more Next Generation episode to scan and remove the discolouration of the paper and other cleaning up. Hehe.

The pen outline adds a really nice depth to your lines!! I love love love how soft the blue looks, and how well it fits in with the black and white! The detail in the tedrills is great and her face is gorgeous!!

Oh yah, i've thought about that, too. Since everything we invent tends to be an extension of ourselves, and if anything, with all the technology around we humans have regressed a little in the evolutionary process because we have less to adapt to and more to be lazy from - while all our machines do most of the work for us ... a car is an extension of our legs, a gun is an extension of our fists, medicine is an extension of our immune systems, a computer is an extension of our brains ...
I should check the site out and see if i'm even rambling about the same concept, haha.
