there's 4 question arcs: these question arcs reveal mysteries, they make you get really confused, it makes you wonder what really happened, how those things happened, etc. it make you really confuse
and there's 4 answer arcs: these answer arcs reveal the truth of all the mysteries from the question arcs, everything is clear to you, etc. each answer arc have it question arc
each season end diferent in the tittle
season 1:
higurashi no naku koro ni
season 2:
higurashi no naku koro ni kai
season 3 with 5 OVAs (5 episodes):
higurashi no naku koro ni Rei
season 4 with 4 OVAs:
higurashi no naku koro ni kira
season 1 and 2 are the ones that follows the story
