Did you choose the dress/background colors for each muse before you started the series? Each has been well matched so far.
Can you imagine having hair like that? You'd never successfully manage a brush through it. Of course, as a muse, I'm sure she never has to bother.

Nope, I'm making it up as I go along 
I just try to match colours with their personalities.. like Erato is soft and romantic so she needs pinks and reds and green is a nice contrast to that P:
