(trust me. That IS a big deal for me.

Been a long time since I've done anything Envy related, hasn't it?

Okay. FIRST, I know the dragon (also called Leviathan, from what I've heard. Little mythology reference there. :3) is drawn a little differently from the actual movie version. I drew him smaller --compared to human-ish Envy-- and made some minor tweaks to his design.
The reason for these little changes? Accidental. I started this thing almost A YEAR AGO, back before ep 51 aired, and well before the movie. All I had for reference were one vague settei drawing from the FMA series artbook, a single rough production sketch of his head , and 2 really pixelated collector card illustrations. Not good for trying to get scale and detail. =_=; (Plus, during the transformation at the end of ep 51, the dragon looks a lot smaller when compared to Envy)
Next, THE GATE. I went with the simplified, pencil-drawn version in the artbook. Which has about half as many "people" on it as the CG version they ended up using in the show and movie. That one would've driven me to the nearest asylum. So.....NO. (I'm also not sure if the Leviathan has those same snake-like pupils or not --never did have a good view of his eyes in the movie-- but I gave them to him anyway. )

ANYHOW! ^_^ 'Tis my most extensive colored pencil drawing EVER! I used about 8 different shades of green on that dragon alone. And about 3 different purples for just his eye. XD

And then there was the dreaded array. Yes, I know it's the one used to seal a Homunculus, but I knew it'd be the most impressive one to use and I wanted to use it. NYEH.
(It actually glows in the dark too! *dork*)

And for added dorkiness, see the not-so-hidden "Elric cross" (as I call it) in this one?
