Description
This is my first test with "painting" in Photoshop CS2 and not going with my normal "cell" shade.This was a scanned imaged from my sketchbook from where I make this skinny anime female. I clean up the lines in Illustrator CS2 and then lay down the basic colors in Photoshop and then use a costume make brush with wet edges to finishing the paint look.
I made the background the same but without an outline and all freehand. I wanted the keep the background very simple to not take away from the foreground figure. ^_-

--All done with a mouse.

Cool pose! In addition to your sexy mermaids, you should consider adding a sexy siren such as this to your works. Fishy her up with your fancy fins on her arms and legs, web her fingers and toes and, wow, you'd have one heck of a sailor's delight!
