I totally agree with you, they miss some really great characters! I fell in love with the books before the movies came out, and I was really close to screaming in anger, because they didn't at least put Glorfindel in there! >

He was awful dour in the movie. A little cheeky at times, which was good, but not the spirit of elven youth I had hoped for. You have to admit though, the movie kid was a wicked awesome shot.

(yes, i read after the movies, but that was because i was third in line for reading them in my family. i ended up just stealing it from my brothers. the books were far better) have you heard the buzz about figwit?

no, i just meant in general. hes just an elf extra, but there are Huge Fandoms commited to him. Its strange that they dont try to figure out who he is (i think the guy theyre talking about is one of arwens twin brothers) and i once found a site with popular songs rewritten with words for figwit.
