*Jungmun Daepo Jusangjeollidae (Columnar joints at Jungmun Daepo Coast)-Natural Monument No.443 in Korea
-These are rocky cliffs with columnar joints that run for about 2km (1.24 Miles) along the coast from Jungmun-dong to Daepo-dong in Seogwipo City. They were formed by the cooling and solidification of lava flows from the Nokhajiak scoria cone from 140.000 to 250.000 years ago.
*중문대포 주상절리대
-천연기념물 제443호
-이곳 주상절리대는 서귀포시 중문동에서 대포동에 이르는 해안을 따라 약 2km에 걸쳐 발달해있다. 주상절리대는 약 25만년에서 14만년 전 사이에 '녹하지악' 분화구에서 흘러온 용암이 식으면서 형성된 것이다.
