Sometimes, mist helps us see the whole picture better. Love the silhouette and the overall mood of it. I think I would've liked it with less ground, but it still works as is. Good job!

True, mist is giving us the silhouettes, the outlines of things, making us see the landscape with less details. Thank you so much, and yes I guess I could have walked closer to the tree, but this is actually more or less a snapshot from a car, shot when my boyfriend at the time was going out to shoot at it more closely from another angle than this one. It was cold, high up in the mountains and I was originally only aiming at a humourous shot of him shooting at the tree, like a "behind the scenes"-shot of the photographer shooting at the classic "lonely-tree-in-fog".

I see, anyway, regarding the composition, nothing a little cropping magic couldn't fix. Regardless, as I've already said, I really like it, it caught my eye.
