a WILD jAYFEATHER apears. Yeah well here is Jayfeather I tried a different way of shading and I wasn't really going for a realistic style. At first it was going to be a scene from Yellowfang's Secret but Raggedpelt was the only good looking cat out of the whole picture so Jayfeather happened. I am not happy with that sky either it looks horrible.Warriors(c) Erin Hunter

This is lovely, absolutely lovely. You did the background really well, and I love the stars. His markings are fabulous. I love the cartoony style that you drew him in. You did the shading pretty well, too. The way that you added the blue outlining on his back and tail really add something to it, as well as how the area around it has a blue tint. I love the grass and the trees around him. I also enjoy the way the fur looks - it makes him look fluffy. Everything is absolutely superb. This is one of my favorite Jayfeather pieces.

this is so beautiful you got his eyes perfect and his markings superb the back round is amazing this was thought out so wonderfully please do things more like this because this is so perfect and well thought out you his hair perfect and i love the expression on his face amazing job and i love the tail the way you used the hair on it i love how you fit the tip in with the markings and he looks young i really really love it and i love love love the whiskers great job and his mouth the best

I love this! It's really cool if you were going for a more stylized version of cat.
Firstly... I really like Jayfeather's design, its very energetic and smooth. And the background just compliments this perfectly, its just so bright and glow-y. The lights and shadows are done pretty well also.
However, I think maybe the grass and trees could be more blue tinted, since the lighting is coming from the moon/stars and not the sun. Also I think (( I don't really know how to explain this... )) the foreground could be a bit more raised up, it kind of falls flat toward the bottom of the piece.

I actually like your Back ground, It looks cartoonish and original. You should keep doing that kind of Back ground, It can be your " thing ".
