Description A reproduction of a black and white photograph of my great grandmother on my Dad's side. Never met her.
I am not that satisifed with the background (which I added in colored pencil). I didn't have a grey pencil at all so I could not gracefully blend the leaf pattern into the grey base paper.

Charcoal and colored pencil.

There's a bit of glare off the colored pencil and charcoal.

i enoy the fact that the flower pattern is not "gracefully" blended with the grey, sort of adds character to it.

Really? Thanks, I don't know if I like it but I'm glad you do.

I just ended up gifting it to my dad without fixing the blending. It looks ok from a far.
