Download for full-view!So... my friend mentioned to me a while ago that she was having a hard time learning how to draw ferrets. I drew these sketches a while back and never scanned them until today (partially because I was on hiatus).
This is by no means the best way to draw ferrets, and it isn't even wholly accurate. However, this is a very simplified way to draw ferrets that are at least somewhat recognizable as, well, ferrets. I hope it helps at least one person; then its purpose will be fulfilled.
Note that I draw ferrets' legs longer than they really should be, as per my personal style. Ferret legs should generally be shorter and more furry/thick. Anyone using this tutorial should be aware of this and edit their own learning process appropriately.

It does look something more of the black footed ferret (different from polecat-descended domestic ferrets). Really, I'd call it a stylized marten ^^ Not saying this as an insult, just saying in case you were wondering or wanted to know... You probably didn't... .__.

But don't you know? The whole point of tutorials is to make it look really easy so that whoever reads them will be in awe of the creator after they try and fail. >.>
No but really, I found drawing ferrets was hard until I actually did a little studying for this tutorial. Learning the skeleton is actually really helpful, it makes it that much easier.
