You guessed it! Another test dragon lol. I've been messing around with different materials for my dragons eyes and I came across some glass cabochons and painted them to see how that would turn out and I think I've found one of my favorite ways to make eyes ^~^ So I made this quirky little dragon and his marble to match those beautiful blue eyes. They always say the eyes are the window to your soul and I think this dragon really starts to come to life with these eyes. It has a certain depth that when you see it in person is really quite awesome!so as per usual the test guys go cheap and this particular on is quite large! He's almost 4" tall, but he was a tester so his adoption fee is $30 I hope someone will adopt this guy, even his ears make him just a little unique from other dragons out there ;3

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that this dragon came out amazing! I am just starting to get into sculpting dragons, and just ordered some cabochon for myself! I was wondering- do have any problems with the cabochon in the oven? I am going to paint some eyes as soon as they arrive, put them into my dragon, and then bake them- I guess I was just wondering if cabochon can go in the oven? Thanks!

Aw yay! I'm so glad you're going to make some! And yes, the cabochons can go into the oven no problem! I tend to turn down the heat by 20-75 degrees depending on the thickness of the glass I'm using, but if you just bake it a little longer the clay still cures just fine

Ah! Ok! I really, really appreciate it! So, instead of baking the Sculpey at the normal 275F, I could turn it down to about 250F and just bake it a little bit longer? That's so cool! I bought 8mm cabochon, since I tend to make very small sculptures! Thanks so much!

Yup! If you're working with those little 8mm ones I'd turn it down to 220 :3 they're fairly thick for how small they are, but better safe than sorry.
