Description
I need feedback for this one, I'm not entirely happy with this one and I don't know how to fix it.I've opted to not put a nose or mouth in just for effect.

I don't like how the fire curves up near the left side. I agree that the background could be broken up a little more. I'm not sure what exactly could work, but play around with it, maybe even something as simple as some geometric shapes or something abstract. It's very minimalist and I wouldn't want to see it get overly cluttered with stuff.

try adding more color variety to the fire, I think that'll help the background quite a bit. (especially since you have multiple colors on the fire in her hand)
just adding a gradient to the gray may help as well, since right now EVERYTHING is happening in the far right so the grey background just feels rather empty.
if it still feels off even after fiddling with those ideas or the ideas others have given you, don't be afraid to try adding some red-tinted areas to her to make the fire feel more like a part of the scene and not a cutout prop.
sooo now that I'm done attempting to help with my probably less than adequate knowledge, I do like this quite a lot, but I see what you mean by that it just feels like its missing something.

I don't see a need for a nose. And as for a background, why not make it the cave she's seen in in her Splash Art? Or maybe a Field of Justice, if that helps.

I was gunna put Tibbers but:
1) Shes already holding the bear
2) Everyone does that
I only draw in Vector (Flat colours and gradient only) So drawing a whole Field of Justice might be a bit of a stretch XD... Cave might be do-able... trying to figure out how I'd do it though.

How about do a very simplistic version of a forest using the twisted treeline as a reference - make it dark and dreary - while using the fire to give it a light source
I think the perspective you have it at would be great for that kind of background.
