Two worlds, two hearts have met,

Oh goodness, so sorry about all the confusion! These characters actually belong to myself & my friend nujito . I suppose as I paid for this, I am technically the commissioner, although it was the wonderfully kind & generous Onsta who surprised me by requesting these two! I cannot thank either her or you enough for making this possible.
All of your artwork is stunning and you are one of my favourite artists! I can't even begin to tell you how much it means to me or how honoured I am to see two of my favourite characters rendered so expertly by you - I am absolutely blown away. You display such a strong technical foundation and a sophisticated knowledge of everything you approach, along with a keen eye for aesthetics which manifests in the appeal of your style. There is nothing that I don't love about your work.
Your character dynamics are one of the best things about your work; you always illustrate fresh, naturalistic, and organic scenes between people, and this is no exception. I adore the interaction between Yvanna and Koji, you really captured their personalities and the nature of their relationship in such a sweet image. I like that the expressiveness of your art is not limited just to the faces of the people that you draw; you really put thought into the way that you choose to pose characters, too. I adore the way that they're standing and their clasped hands and interlinked fingers! Their faces are the most endearing thing, I am so charmed by the way that you have handled their expressions. The style and fashion of their clothing is so attractive, I love what you chose to dress them in, as I very much like seeing artists have a little liberty with their clothing!
The structure and form to your work is astounding, everything here has such clear, strong structure and has been constructed so well. Your knowledge of anatomy and the human form is so clearly obvious, and I know a lot of study, practice, and hard work has gone into reaching this point.
Your colouring and rendering is fantastic, the way you employ painterly techniques to your work is absolutely gorgeous. I love the unrefined feel of your sketch commissions, especially in the way that the brushstrokes are so obvious, and the way that detail is hinted at (like the way their hair and their fingers have been painted!) You handle different textures - hair, skin, material - with a great depth of understanding. I have such an appreciation for the light and airy feel of this piece, the soft, dreamy colours you've employed really contribute to the atmosphere. You have an impressive grasp on lighting, too, the way this has been shaded really adds a level of depth - I especially like the way the planes of the faces have been shaded.
I can tell that a lot of effort, thought, and time has been sunk into this piece, something which I'm very grateful for! It is such an incredible privilege receiving work from you, and I really treasure this. Thank you so so much, I love this!

I'd be happy to, I'm flattered you're interested! These are two original characters that belong to myself & my friend nujito ; their names are Yvannale & Kojituu. They are an OC couple, and (a little embarrassingly) their characterisations are based off our Gelerts on Neopets.com, so they are also represented as Gelerts haha. It's difficult for me to really condense an explanation of who they are - mostly they're just two people disgustingly in love with each other, basically. We have a character page set up here, if you are interested in viewing more artwork of them or reading more about them!
