EILINOS LITTER ACCESSORIES

Levian's necklace:
An angular crystal of pararealgar mineral hangs from a thin silver chain. An intricately forged piece of silver attaches the gem to the chain where four beads of chalcedony are strung.

Eli's necklace:
A teardrop-shaped smoothed gem of green opal hangs from a silver chain, similarly attached by a piece of forged silver. Two beads of chalcedony are strung on the chain, and a feather from a yellow-shafted Northern flicker is also attached.

Ashlee's bracelet:
A simple, relatively thin band of silver. Gems of chalcedony are inlaid throughout. A single piece of polished turquoise hangs from the center, attached by small chains of silver.

Tari's earrings
Each earring is composed of a single crystal of green olivine. Forged silver holds the gems to their backing and creates an intricate design around the the side faces. Hanging from each crystal is a single polished bead of chalcedony and an agular crystal of purple quartz (amethyst).

Dillion's necklace
An oval-shaped rounded gem of purple opal hangs from a silver chain. Silver bands wrap around the stone to attach it to the chain, where six beads of chalcedony are strung. The necklace is specifically made to be round to prevent Dillion from using it to harm others.

Before anyone asks about Ken's accessory, Ken was purposely left out because Fame already has a super-sweet accessory design for him! uwu

Anyways, these were a huge, huge blast to do! I've always wanted to draw a set for a litter of kittens, and to finally get that chance was such an honor! They don't exactly match, but I made sure each accessory included beads of chalcedony to sort of tie them all together. Chalcedony is a cryptocrystalline form of silica, which is chemically identical to quartz, with only their crystalline structures differing (for the most part anyways). Like quartz it can come in many colors, including white, grays, blues, purples, greens, yellows, and even oranges. I chose to go with a yellow-orange approach, because it's one of the less common possibilities. I went with chalcedony because not only is it a versatile mineral in color and shape, but also because it supposedly 'absorbs negative energies and dissipates it before it can be passed on'. Whichhh is a load of crap obviously, but I thought it was an interesting concept, and something any mother would want for her kits - basically it's meant to promote happiness instead of more negative emotions.

The other minerals were chosen at random for either their colors or their physical properties, so there are no meanings behind those, sorry 'bout that! TTwTT If anyone's curious about them, feel free to ask! My inner geology nerd would love, love to tell you all about them...because rocks. OTL
