Description
The Imperial Children of Russia surrounded by their mother, Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. I had this idea to paint their ears, cheeks, and noses very red to showcase the coldness of the wintertime. I hope it's at least decent!

It does work! I see a hint of it in the older one (Comforts of Wintertime) but the shade works best here, and fills in the story a little, to the mind. You can almost see their breath, even.....

This looks great!! I feel that the colouring you did in this photo really makes the children and their mother stand out, almost like they could walk right out of the photo! The same goes with the horse, you did an fantastic job with the shading and highlights! I thought what you did to the colouring of the ears cheeks and noses was very clever and makes the whole thing even more real! Lovely work!
