lighthouses fascinate me a lot,they looks kinda...magical?(maybe 'cause i've never seen one XD)...and this shot renders the idea i have about them...
i like a lot the composition of the shot,and the choice of greayscale!plus,this fog that makes the top of the lighthouse disappear is great
this pic gives me an idea of solitude and loneliness...it has great feelings in it

Thank you! That's what I liked about it - the fog... Someone above argued that the lighthouse is out of focus, but it's not. It's surrounded by fog...

Imi place cum ai aranjat fotografia, astfel inca linia gardului sa conduca privirea catre far. As fi inchis si mai mult diafragma si as fi marit ISO-ul, farul ar fi aparut mai clar - doar el este subiectul, nu?

Turnul da` doar echilibrul pozei, fiind out of focus si cred ca as fi facut la fel. La f/7.1 nu ai sanse decat sa prinzi cararea, o mare parte din ea, care, presupun ca a si fost intentia. Insa dupa nume...
Putea urca iso (fiind ASA 100, pe un aparat destul de bun), insa fiind ceata, pierdea din detaliu...cerul iesea mai alb si nu stiu ce rezolva astfel in background.
Cadrul e prea ingust, usor stramtorat, ii fura din libertate, dar sugestia cararii imi place
ps: din cate vad in stanga, e o bucata de gard, din pozitia aceea nu vad un cadru mai bun
