Oh the colors are stunning! Excellent capture but I was wondering if you tried it with a black frame instead of white? I was picturing it in my mind. It's a lovely shot.

I'm color blind. Red/Green, as are 11% (1 in 9) all men. I still see other colors, and this shot is impressive even when some of them are muted.
As a result I'm very dependent on color match technology, using Pantone charts, and other hardware to make sure that my photos are the best they can be.

is that what they call "daltonism" ? I read something about an island somewhere in the Pacific ocean where almost all the inhabitants are color blind.
Does it influence the way you live your life a lot ? (apart from the obvious art-related issues)

thanks for that link. It really looks very similar. But the guy at the market just put the colours in a bit of water, and started painting on our hands.
whereas the rangoli are edible (for little ants etc), aren't they?
