Description
This piece is constructed from hundreds of odd shaped forged steel elements welded together to form the Horse.It is in exact life scale and stands over six feet tall. The impressive mass of the piece is evident when it is viewed in person.

one thing: It might have been better for the size effect to put something next to the horse that shows the size. I guess the lines on the floor are hard to see and not enough to give an impression of the proportions

Very interesting peice. I love the somewhat skeletal look of the horse. It adds a nice touch. Amazing job! All the intricate peices make it look quite complex (which I'm sure it is!)

Did you by any chance use a horse statue in Ballard for the model?
There is an art studio there that has several huge statutes constructed from old horse shoes.
