So the story behind this drawing:
Well this drawing first began as a school doodle. I felt like drawing something swirly and I recently got over my slight fear of holding snakes at a reptile Expo so since then I've been pretty fascinated by them. I also love the aesthetic of pairing something that many people view as vicious or scary (even though I think snakes are adorable, they literally have puppy dog faces!!) with something that is delicate like a flower and by using warm colors. Overall, the inspiration came from my point of view of snakes how I don't really see them as scary man eating creatures they are made out to me. They are cute noodles to me.

lol I like the part where they are cute noodles to you XD. I agree that they aren't that vicious. My Grand parents live out in the country and there are often snakes roaming around. Most of them are Bull Snakes which are not really aggressive unless provoked (pinning it in a corner and poking it with a stick ) And my Uncle used to have snakes as pets. But even though I like snakes (I agree they have cute faces) I would not want to meet a hungry anaconda. XD

Ahh cool! I wish I could have a pet snake. I would go with a piebald ball python, but idk if my family would feel about keeping frozen mice in the fridge XD It all good though, I can settle with lovable floofy flying demons for now (birds)
AND TRUE! and especially if it were to be a poisonous snake. Observing from distance sounds nice. Very nice indeed.
