I read it once and I was absolutely befuddled by the movie.

I think the show doesn't do the series justice, but that's only probably cuz I grew up reading them before I even knew there was a show. I do happen to own the show for "Martin the Warrior" because I got it as a gift before they got unreasonably expensive on amazon.

I watched it first when my brother liked it, and it ruined Redwall and Mattimeo for me, along with Martin the Warrior, because I kept on remembering the scenes from the show, which weren't that bad or that great, but I read MtW again and LOVED it (even though the show kept popping up) and then I have a few more pages to go on Mattimeo, and it's GREAT

That's too bad! But luckily they're the types of books that you can reread over and over again and still get nervous for the characters and still feel the emotion in certain scenes

I like the way he wrote in the middle of the series, when he had the plot and characters figured out but wasn't...well there's something I don't like as much about the last ones 0-o

I'd have to agree - his later novels were definitely not as great as the earlier ones. I'd say the first 5 or so were the best, plus a few near the middle. Cover-wise, I think the first few are non-negotiabley(I just made this word up haha) the best.

I like the.... early middle era of writing and the earlier writing (but it bugs me because he didn't quite have everything the same as the middle books, like in Mossflower with his description of Salamandastron..)
I get REALLY annoyed at the cover art because while it's good, people keep teasing me at school because it looks sorta weird

Weird?? How in the world would it look weird? It's some of the best cover art I've seen! Especially the early novels. That's one of the major reasons I started reading the novels in the first place
