Description

I decided that I need to lean out of the safety habit of drawing busts and give more attention toward practicing full-body art. And this boy is the first of many.

I adopted him from R1DGE , and I renamed him Koi! His coloring immediately made me think of koi fish. They're so gorgeous. And so is this boy ^^
Unlike the majority of my characters, I don't think he'll be a Warrior-Cat. I'll have to think of a role for him..

I'm trying to figure out my style when it comes to limbs. I know HOW to draw them (for the most part) but I'm always struggling with how I want them to look, stylistically. I love both toony and realistic paw styles.
For me personally, I think I need to keep them fairly simple. I find the more complex I try to make something, I try WAY to hard to put in all the little details, and I end up screwing it up anyway.
I think I like how they look here. But there's always room for improvement!
