this happened my first day with a stick of vine charcoal in my hand. that stick is gone.

theres actually symbols here if you wanna look at em and figure them out... it was really an as i went thing... i didn't set out to give God a mohawk... i just didn't think he should be a skin head and didn't want to do the stereo-typical old man with a beard thing... so i went with a mohawk because he dosn't conform to our will and those who ware mohawks are supposedly anti conformists... anyways.

the character in Adam's place is an original character of mine i made this summer. his name is Everybody. i thought it would be neat to put him there.

i had a problem tho. heaven looked too dark and the picture looked too vacant. so i made earth kinda creepy. but there was still an empty spot. then i thought what about Golgotha? so i just pitched it in and as i was drawing i realized something. people couldn't see God they couldn't TOUCH God they weren't aloud in the Holy of Holys. but because of Jesus dieing on the cross there at Golgotha... we can go to heaven when our time is spent here and God will say "welcome home my good and faithful servant." not because were good enough but because we were ransomed out of hell and those of us who recognized the opportunity and took it and rejoiced in him... those little daemons cant hold onto you anymore.

so that's it... unless you have more questions or suggestions... i don't hardly know anything about charcoal techniques...
