As soon as I finish the final moulds and can set up a regular price (it mainly depends on the time it takes to make a pair, and I roughly calculated it together with the making of the prototype, for the commissioner, but I need to check it precisely when making more), absolutely Yes, they'll be available! ^^

The mould came out well, and the prototype of the ears too. Now I have a lot of work to do, but I'll go on with the ears asap! ^^

awesome! I'm actually interesting in investing in some longer elf ears like this myself! So far I've been looking at these made of cold foam so that they stick out:

I wonder how much you would charge for a pair made from the mold you just finished? The details in yours are just fantastic and they would work for my own Poison Elves costume. PE Elves have huuuge ears. I love how you've included multiple lobe creases to support the rest of the ear. Very realistic!

Yes, it's one of my favorite comics as well. I'm dressing up as Lusiphur after a curse turned him into a woman in honor of Drew Hayes, who died recently. (I wrote a news article on him if you'd like to know more: [link] ) I want to make this costume my best for his tribute.
Excellent! I look forward to seeing the finished ears.

Bummer! I would have LOVED to have seen that! If you were able to find your costumes again, perhaps you can send me pictures so I can add them to Drew's tribute site?

Yeah...he was such an inspiring guy in his letters to his fans. I wish I could've taken the chance to meet him.

LOL! I made my papier mache long ears for a Morachi costume! <3PE!
Could you pierce the latex for earrings or would that shred them? ::Curious::

hmm my guess would be that you could reinforce the ears with a bit of sealant and then pierce them. Though you'd have the hole in the same place forever and ever.

But if I was planing on leaving the hoops in them forever- would tht really matter?

hmm I wouldn't think it'd mess it up if you were planning to leave them in. But that's just my guess.

i may not be elena, but i asked the same question myself!
you can peirce them rather easily, then when you take the earrings out the latex sorta fills in again to you can't tell there was a hole there.
thats what she told me at least ^.^
