As long as you don't get the same tattoo, i don't have a problem with you 'stealing' the idea to get a Phantom tattoo. Just make sure this isn't something you're only into for a while like Gigapets or Furby.. Tattoos should have a very deep personal meaning.. not just something you get just to get it. Seriously think about it for no less then a year before you get it, you'll have to live with the tattoo a lot longer.
But anyway, that's just my opinion.
Live is indeed amazing.

...And, I have read the book. Many times. I have more than five copies with different covers and different translations. ^^
Not to mention all the other programs, ornaments, music boxes, collectible figures, special edition sets, CDs, bootlegs of shows,... and many other things in my vast Phantom collection.

You're sure despite only coming to this decision a few days ago. *chuckles* I used to be sure about wanting a big "OZZY!" tattoo, and at one point I was positive that I wanted an Undertaker tattoo.
I am so glad that I waited and didn't get either of them. I would have regretted it, twice. Perhaps by your use of so many emotes I'm wondering about your age, which can add to impulsive decision making.
Also, I suppose, it's because I've been a phan quite literally all my life, since I was born in '86, the same year the stage version came to B-way and the mother went to see it. So I grew up with the soundtrack, and read the novel once I learned to read. At 7 years old or so they said it was just a phase I was going through.
...I'm 21 now, so... It's nothing I'm going to grow out of any time soon, I had no second thoughts on getting my tattoo when I turned 18 because Erik has been a big part of my life.
All this, of course, is just good advice to think about, do with it what you will.

Basically, at the moment this involves wearing high-necked tops, jeans, long coats and beanies in various shades of black.
So either way, I'm hiding myself from the world, and I don't see how it makes a difference.
