This is a mink or marten skull. One of my biggest interests is to collect animal skulls.
It's not a cat skulls as cats have very large eye sockets and only 30 teeth. Neither is it a ferret skull because they have much more robust looking skulls.

Definitely not a rat I have one rat skull and it's different. I think it's feline (not a house cat) or canine, as I look at the teeth.
Maybe I should upload more photos of my skulls too (now I only submitted a magpie skull)

From my time in chordate anatomy lab studying Felix our skeletal lab kitty, I can say with a fair amount of certainty that it's a small cat.
