There's a great atmosphere to this piece. You wonder what this girl has been through in her tough life. She has an almost mona-lisa-eque look in her face where you can't tell if she's happy or sad - but you know she's deep in thought about something.

The composition is excellent. The focus begins on the subject's face, then drawing to the very cool rear bumper and tires, then you're taken wistfully into the background to explore the world in your own imagination.

A good understanding of lens theory has been used to create depth in this image. The foreground and backgrounds have an excellent bokeh. One thing that could have improved this piece is a slight lens bur on the steering wheel area and front area of the bike. This would have added even more sense of perspective to the main character, and her BEAST.

I love the wind picking up the dust in the background. That's a wonderful touch.

The only thing that doesn't stand out for me is the green foreground on the right. It seems to fill the space unnecessarily. With so much saturation and low detail, all it does is pull me away from the main composition. A negative space might have created a more natural sense of imbalance. There is no imperative to fill all space on a canvas - less could be more!

Overall the image is incredible. I want to hop on that bike with her and explore this harsh, unforgiving world for myself!
