Description
a portrait of one of my best friends, menah , for her birthday. i tried to portray her the way i know her best: carrying lots of things, always finding a way to do some kind of creative work together with anything else she’s doing, and taking careful and elegant steps anywhere she goes

I remember seeing this work when first posted, and it's one image of deviantart that has been burned into my memory it is super lovely and sometimes when I'm struggling carrying my whole life unnecessarily with me I remember this and smile. It's so odd how deeply this work has touched me! Thanks!

Stunning composition! I love use of red outlines/highlights and the painterly style of this piece (to me it's hard to tell at a glance if it is made using traditional materials or digital). Beautiful.
