in all honesty, i just had an overwhelming urge to draw a hip stylish picture with a tiger. that's the whole story really.photoshop 7 and a wacom tablet. ref used for the tiger. textures from cgtextures.com . for tips on textures take a look at [link]

Wonderful transition of hue and tone.
The woman has the same rhythm and flow as some of the works seen in biz20's (biz02 on deviantart) graffiti-inspired style.

I'd say it more because of the rhythm of the lines and careful set up of the composition in this particular piece. Adding the circles at the top really add to that fluid nature, and is a clever "stopper" that brings the viewer back through the composition.
Biz makes his women exaggeratedly voluptuous (for better or worse), but something about this one just works extremely well.
