Description

In the Dragonlance books, two things the dwarven character Flint Fireforge didn't handle well were horses and boats. My DM felt this made sense for all dwarfs as they were inherently denser than human, elven, gnomish, halfling, or any other demi-human races which is why they can swing such powerful battle axes and war hammers, but making them very poor swimmers and horsemen, and besides mountain tunneling dwarfs wouldn't be suited well to stable or train horses. Β  But I felt it unfair to deny them the tactical advantages of mountedΒ  fighters! After all, if orcs could ride into battle on trained wargs, why should Durin's line be denied? So I came up with this class for my own game. Personally, I'd find this sight to be a lot more terrifying for an orc to face than some human on a horse in a tin suit and a lance!
