    ·        This boy will try to have you believe that he is the almighty fish prince even though he is well aware that nobody will believe him. Despite Dylan’s childish disposition, in reality he is a lot smarter and mature than he appears to be. Although he enjoys the freedom of youth he can be very serious and or compassionate when he feels the need for it. He has a very open mind and harvests understanding for things, people and the world that most people his age wouldn't. Although he is usually very carefree and cheerful, Dylan is more than capable than taking care of himself and doesn't feel the need to rely on others. Although he loves to hang around with friends (including the fish, which he considers friends or family), he is also completely comfortable being in only his own company.

Likes

    +        FISH. Among all the things this boy is passionate about, fish are the most important thing to him. He has a history with fish and therefore feels very close to them as if they were human, often referring to them as his family or friends.

    +        FRIENDS. Next to fish, Dylan is extremely passionate about his friendships although seeming pretty down to earth about them. As a boy who finds happiness from bringing happiness to others, (as cliché as it sounds) his friends are also what is most important to him.

    +        COLLECTING. He won’t collect just anything however collecting simple things such as sea shells or guppies makes him happy. He is very delighted and grateful to anybody who donates to his collections.

    +        SWIMMING. Dylan loves swimming however not in swimming pools. If he’s going to swim somewhere he much prefers to go swimming at the beach or a lake or somewhere with especially rich aquatic life. This boy isn't going to doggy paddle over the surface, he’s going to have his scuba equipment and be exploring, looking for new fish to meet.

Dislikes

    -        FISHING AND FISH MEAT. Dylan is well aware of the food chain and understands that humans like himself are going to continue to kill fish for food. He will not stop anybody from doing that as he sees it in the fish world too, Sharks eating fish etc, and understands it is all just part of the ‘whirlpool of life’, however he will take absolutely no part in it due to his relationship with the fish. He also won’t participate in recreational fishing as he also does not want to hurt the fish that he calls family.

    -        SMALL MINDED PEOPLE. As a very open minded person, this is only expected.

    -        CROWDS. He is teeny person and isn't fond of loud noises so crowed areas tend to make him disorientated and anxious.

Track description/interpretation

    ·        Dreams of Young Fish could be interpreted so many ways as it doesn't necessarily paint a story or specific feeling. In my opinion, the song gives off a feeling of fascination and familiarity as Si_ku sings about the fish. The lyrics are almost childish in parts, describing the fish as fluffy, wriggling and slippery and using repetition on words and counting. However (being a Kikuo song), the lyrics also give off a sinister atmosphere and meaning. Ultimately the song talks about tiny little fish, being born into the world to eventually become somebody’s food as a part of the circle of life. If this song is to paint a picture of a person I believe that person would be somebody fascinated by life but also well aware and understanding of the harsh realities of it.

    ·        Dylan’s name means ‘son of the sea’, a fitting title, however he will most likely try to convince you to call his Cetus (named after a sea monster in Greek mythology)
    ·        Although he hates fishing with hooks, he often likes to fish by waiting by the water and snatching up a fish into his arms to say hello and then put it back.
    ·        Although he is human, he has strange scale like freckles, ever so slightly pointed ears and his watery cape. He claims that they’re all to do with his ‘re-birth’.
    ·        Boy is this re-birth thing a mystery.
    ·        He pays rent on the apartment he lives in alone. He won’t tell you how he earns his living but I promise it’s not illegal or anything like that.

    ·        He really doesn’t wear that cape often. It's kinda inconvenient.
