Considering the contents of the page above, I don't think it's a weird question. But moving on:
I think Marie would propose to Double-D. Since she obviously knows she really likes him when she's just a kid, so I'd guess after a short while of dating, she'd feel like she was ready to be Mrs.... Whatever Double-D's last name is. The biggest factor, if Marie proposed, would be if Double-D accepted her proposal right away or not. Which would probably depend on how long they had been dating and/or how far they had gone in their relationship.
(Cause we all know that if Double-D asked her, she'd automatically say yes, even if they only maybe had one date and hadn't even held hands yet.)
