The Courtney and Tabitha of Team magma used to be badass, violent looking members..
Their look alone was enough to make me flee as trainer
But now they've got a fat guy, and a more interesting and charming looking lady.
I can't believe they ruined the best villains in pokemon -- Well, third best
Bragging aside, the art looks fine at least

hm... yes, after seeing Major as the villain, you got a point there 
Still, the original was more violent -- Less cockey, and had a villain look.
The new look turned Magma into some nerd-geeks..
Compared to the original, even Maxie was a violent man -- no science teacher

To be honest, I'm starting to prefer their redesigns over the originals. I mean the original do have a charm of course
but the redesign have bit more personality. Initially I was too fond of them but overall time I started to like
them more and more.

I'm more old school myself, I often prefer original designs.
Though some prove to be quite nice and better actually.
Such as the Shaft from the early .. 2000? To the new X chronicles.
And, many many other examples
