Trunks has been always one of my favorite character.No...no that spoiled punk in original time line.
Man, both future version of Trunks and Gohan are million times better than their original counter-part imo.

Oh Gohan for sure. Beating Cell was like his plateau, downhill from there for him. Trunks i think is cool in both timelines. He's more badass in the alternate definitely. But he's grown up then, for one. For two, can you blame the kid for being spoiled? He has unlimited money and super powers at age 10. But really kid Trunks and Goten are cool because they add this unexpected emotional aspect. Like the long term effect Trunks has on Vegeta's character. Or like when Buu turns Chi-Chi into an egg and squashes her, and Goten's about to rush off and attack and Trunks stops him. And Goten just like breaks and he's like "But... Mom was all I had left..." And Trunks like tears up, then gets PISSED. Like, that's a cool element of the show freal.

I agree with you on the Gohan part, he really became the opposite of Goku in Super.
But on the other hand, he fought since he was 4 years old and even then we already knew Gohan would never become like his father.
He never liked to fight. (blame it on his human side I guess)
I do like Kid Trunks though, He's a spoiled brat all right (can't really be helped with his mom being so rich) but he's also a kid with a heart of gold for taking in the Pilaf-gang.
He's got some nice character development in this series.
Future Trunks has always been my favourite character because he is actually a main character in his own time-line.
We can all agree that Goku will always be the nr 1 in this series because "duh" he IS the main character of this show, even before his own children.
Other characters will have their moments to shine but it will always be Goku having the icing on the cake (which is becoming increasingly boring by the way)
And unless they find a way to wish everyone back in Future Trunks time-line he (Trunks) is the ONLY Saiyan left.
He'll have to rebuild it from scratch with the few remaining humans left.
His world is not a world where everyone lives happily ever after, and that makes his time-line so much more realistic and intense.
He is living constantly on the edge, fighting for his and others lives and always under unimaginable pressure.
In my opinion there is no one more deserving for defeating Zamasu than Trunks is, Goku and Vegeta can have a part in it but it should be ultimately him having the honour of defeating them.

Very awesome~! Such misery in the background too. Poor Trunks probably suffers from PTSD too after all that he's been through. Poor thing.....
What about GT Trunks? He's not spoiled like kid Trunks? I don't like kid Trunks at all either, but I do adore future Trunks and GT Trunks.
It's amazing how someone grows up can change the out come of who they become, isn't it?
