Description
A few of my personal favorites done at a Friday night portrait drawing group, at Literary Cafe in Treemont Ohio. This is great opportunity for practice, because we get all kind of models, different age, gender, and ethnicity. I wish every city would have a drawing group like this.

Medium: Top row are pastels on black pastel paper. Bottom rows are watercolor.
Duration: about 2-3 hours for each portrait.

A lot of the images are blurry because we would give the drawing to the model for free at the end of the drawing session (as a thank you token for the model to sit for free), so they were shot with a camera in a the back room of a bar. (The bar owner kindly let us artists use the nice large backroom for drawing every Friday)
