I added some nasty veins to him and a small tear coming out of his monster eye, because he'd rather be all monster rather than just half of one ;(
I've been meaning to add those details for a while now, but finally got to do it a few weeks back so that I could sell it as prints at the APE convention that happened last weekend. I couldn't go to that but some friends of mine that I do art for had a booth over there and asked me for some prints of mine to sell. So, yeah.

This movie kicks ass, outstanding artwork here.
Loved this movie since i was 12 19 years ago when i rented it on video and has became one of my favorite comedies since.
Does this movie remind you of a cocktail of Island of Dr. Moreau, Freaks (1933), The Tiny Toon Adventures/Batman TAS episodes "Hare Raising Night"/"Tyger Tyger" (Remember those episodes?) and The Toxic Avenger all rolled into one?

Yeah man, I was obsessed with this movie growing up. I remember as a kid being bored one time in Blockbuster and didn't know what to pick and randomly picked 'Freaked' without knowing what it was and when I saw it for the first time it just blew me away. I don't remember much the 'Tiny Toons' and 'Batman' episodes you mentioned, I'd have to go back and see 'em, but yes I do see a lot of 'Dr. Moreau', of course 'Freaks', and 'Toxic Avenger' in it. I'm sure the directors were influenced by that kind of crazy stuff and applied some elements from those into the movie, but of course they made it into their own thing. Like a sexy pinhead for instance. Who comes up with that? I think it's genius!

The Tiny Toons episode "Hare-Raising Night" was the one where Buster Bunny with Plucky, Hampton and Babs go rescue animals from a Moreau-esque mad scientist who look like Herbert West with big lips and had a bizarre mutant monster with the head of a bulldog with horns, a dragon body and wings of a bat as it fell for Babs. "Tyger Tyger" was that Batman episode where Selina Kyle aka Catwoman got kidnapped by a mad scientist who is like Skuggs as he turns her into a very hot literal cat-woman (ala Cleo on Heathcliff, Felicia or Cheetara if you know what i mean right?).
Do they bring back memories now?

I don't think I've seen those. Maybe the Tiny Toons one. It's been a long time since I've seen those cartoons. I'll have to check 'em out whenever I get the time.

Hah, wow. I thought I was the only one who knew about this movie! I remember recording this off of HBO when I was a kid. I still have the VHS too! Awesome movie.
