Description
Winter was ending. The snow was melting and starting to show the grass under it. Early mornings this time of year the landscape is barely visable due to the thick mist. Following their leader, the little band of horses soon came into undiscovered land filled with new smells. Echo and Clover, both curious of nature kept on walking forward with their ears pricked when they noticed that Coral stopped.
"I'm not walking further." she said. "This is close to the humans land, it reeks of them" she continued. The younger mare turned around and tried to give the buckskin a calming smile, but her eyes were shining of excitement over all the smells she didn't recognize.
"Don't worry Coral, they can't see us in this mist. We'll leave at the first signs of movement." the chestnut mare didn't want to wait, she knew that as soon as the mist was to disappear they would have to leave. Coral, still very cautious of the advancement sighed before she started moving again.

A scent in the air caught Echo's attention, and he stopped for a moment to smell it. He lifted his head high to find the source of the scent, it was clearly other horses, and his curiosity caught the best of him and he started moving towards whoever it was.
"I wonder what this is..?" Clover asked the other mare, who clearly didn't approve of being here. They had stumbled upon a large, red building that was open all the way through. With all her attention on the strange structure the chestnut mare didn't notice her stallion leaving them, but the buckskin did.
"Clover, Echo is leaving. Let's go" the older mare said and trotted carefully after her stallion.
"I'm coming in a moment" the chestnut said, not quite done investigating the place. She smelled the ground in the building, it was cold and completely flat, nothing she had ever seen before. Stepping onto it, it felt like walking on a mountain. Along the wall there were different types of sticks leaning, and these caught Clovers eyes. Curiously she stepped closer to smell them, but as she touched them one fell to the ground with a loud thud, sending the tense mare straight up in the air, turning 180 degrees and bolt off away from the humans and her band.
