Description
Suisei Wataku is the third seat of Squad 3. She had been since Rose was the Captain. She is also the fraternal twin and younger sister of former Captain of Squad 10 Souunkatsu Wataku. She is the older sister of Katsumaru Wataku and Taiyou Wataku. She was inducted into the Shinigami Academy the same time as Souunkatsu Wataku. Though she wasn't grouped up with her twin brother. But instead grouped with Solekari Fujiwara and Atamiru Antoshi. With that group she manages to befriend them. She proved to be just as strong and determined as her brother and her group to become stronger. Unlike her twin brother who struggled. She faired better on learning to become a shinigami.

She graduated at the same time as her brother and her friends. She was placed in Squad 3 while her brother was in Squad 13. Eventually Souunkatsu became a Captain of Squad 10. While he was a Captain, she was allowed to go onto adventures with him. Along with their friends Solekari, Atamiru and Katsumaru. Especially going to Nagasaki to help a very abundant spirits pass on and slay hollows after the nuclear incident. She noticed that Solekari was developing a fear of humans after witnessing the destruction. She became consoling and tried to comfort her friend through his trauma.

She eventually lost her Captain due to a hollowfication incident. She was about to be chosen to become her brother's lieutenant until he disappeared due to the same reason. Except he disappeared independently from the infamous hollowfication incident. His disappearance made her think that he may have died. She also figured out it wasn't Urahara Kisuke who was responsible for it. She ended up staying in Squad 3 and witness a new captain take over. She would then show her loyalty to Ichimaru Gin.

Hokkyokusei - North Star
Shikai Ability- Smoke Manipulation
The kodachi changes into a large tessen. She uses it to fan out smoke at her opponent.
The smoke often used to obscure her opponent's vision. But the main ability is to choke her opponent and severely debilitate them from fighting her. She can ether fill the space with it to obscure herself or send bolts of smoke straight into her opponent's face to debilitate them.

Bankai - Hokkyokusei Ibuki - Breath of the North Star
Consists of a sword is a complete katana and a tessen. The Sword continuously produces smoke as she carries it. The main ability is to pollute the air around her and suck the oxygen out. She can spray out smoke with each swing which can cover the area in dense smoke. The smoke fills the area and slowly rob the oxygen in the area. Making it harder for her opponent to breathe while trying to fight her. She however is supplied with a mask over mouth that provides her all the air she needs. She uses the tessen to have the smoke spread out greater distances.

Kofuku Kumo - Cloud of Hunger
Second and more deadly attack of the Bankai. Not only could the smoke could displace oxygen or deplete it. It also becomes corrosive as it takes on an acidic nature. It comes from the tessen only. It is so corrosive that the hollows she attacks will melt within five minutes from being exposed.
