Here’s an animation practice thingy I did!I’m gonna try to do short little animations like this more often so that I’m not too rusty when I actually get to take my animation classes at SCAD

Hey umm... I have a lil question... When im done doing a Flash animation, when i want to upload it on DeviantArt, if a put a random picture, will it still show my video?
Please answer soon as you can. im dying to know

Do you mean the preview image? You need to upload the Flash file to Deviantart so people can actually see the video, but then you have to choose a preview image. Preview images can be still images or small gifs (I made a small gif as the preview image for this)

Yeah, but then the preview image will be that random image, so just make sure that people will know its a flash animation based on that image!

do u mean that white outline around one of the last frames? Thats just a glitchy thing that happened when I saved it- idk why and I haven't been able to fix it SO

Uhhmmm well for the animation itself, I did in an hour or two then colored it the next day which also took a little while since I decided to shade it and add a gradient!
And thank you! That means a lot because I've actually been feeling very intimidated by my future animation classes X[ Like an itty bitty ant who's gonna be crushed under the pressure of work or something <: P

Ah, and while we're on the topic, what program did you use for this? It doesn't look like any Flash I've ever seen since the lines are actually good.
Don't feel intimidated. ^^ Though I've never been to a class personally, I can say that you should be confident. ;v; It'll get you a long way.

I did the original sketchy animation in Flash (just cuz it's easier for me), then did the line art for each frame in SAI (because of the smooth lines), then colored it & saved it as a gif in Photoshop!
