The two brothers watched another day close around them marking their last sundown with their pride they had been born into. Tomorrow they would set out to start their own and their own lives along with it.

" What awaits us?" Palladin, the large golden one, watched the skies. " Good things I hope." His brother, Molo, who was smaller and scrawnier than he, napped at their side without much of an indication to show he was listening to Palladin's meanderings who dropped their head.

" Although....bad things will happen too I suppose..." things neither one of them could expect. Then he turned to smile at the darker lion. " But...I know as long as you're with me, I can get through anything. Right?"

Molo finally moved, just enough so that when they opened one eye they could see them.

"Right." they smiled.
