"gone, gone o form of man, arise the demon, etrigan!" a rendition of the demon from dc comics! i love how this came out as its just pencils on vellum board and then juicing the levels and curves a lil in photoshop. smoke n highlights r done w eraser of the pencil. been practicin on this style for a while now, and i think i could be ready enough to drop it on a monthly gig with a lil headstart/help. as u might be able to tell, its geared towards the swamp thing/vertigo series artwork. one of these days, i swear i will work on that green bastards book, so if any of u out there can help me get my foot in the door at dc, i will remember you when payday comes! this is a special gift to lift the spirits of our friend chad fuller who requested ol' etrigan here. let me know what u guys think--kevRelated content

cool. reminds me a little of dore and the pose is well done too. i wouldve thought the smoke effects were digital...im going to have to steal/borrow that technique...did you use some kind of hard edged eraser for that?

yeah, just cut an angle on a number two's eraser. the whole thing was done w a number2 actually, i find u can fuck w the darkness easier as its more a mid lead. thanks for the dore comment, always a fave round these here parts
