So remember that one journal I made about wanting to make an RPG based off the upcoming-but-still-a-long-way-off second season of my fanfic "My Little Pony: The Adventures of Vaati"? Well, I decided to put the sprites I've collected to good use and whipped up this little scene. Spoiler alert: this is the first boss battle of the game. The enemy is Nightmare Grave, the superpowered form of Grey Hoof (of Story of the Blanks infamy) granted by him swearing loyalty to Ganondorf and guarding the Element of Honesty. The dungeon is Everfree Castle. The only thing here I claim as my own is the recolored Princess Luna sprite representing Nightmare Grave.Related content

Well so you know, I'm gonna be playing it the moment I can. I play a lot of Pokemon RPG Maker games as well as others like the Aveyond series, so seeing one based off of a story I like is awesome. Seriously, I love your story a lot.

Ponies are copyrighted too, mate. I can make this game regardless, but I can't sell it for money, as was never my intention. This is a crossover, so it's not going to have just ponies in it.

No, RPG Maker isn't compatible with dA. DA hosts Flash games. RPG Maker actually makes a hard copy of the game you give out online in folders or submit to the RPG Maker website.

Well I am redoing it, I started it in RPG Maker XP and got to the first real dungeon but...never finished it and sorta fell out of it (you can thank mu uncreativeness at creating the maps/backgrounds/the settings I'm always bad at backgrounds and could never get help did twice but they left for their own RPG projects) for a while. But as Micosoft ended their support for XP I moved to Windows7 and figured I would revive the game with RPG Maker VX Ace which you can use a battle system like your screen shot.
I'm still writing chapter 1/the opening before the game really starts, I could use help in either that or help in creating ideas for sidequests/the maps/areas you'll be exploring? The game will be a little dark sure I have a journal about it when it was in XP.
