Funny you should mention multiverse, because I do have a few ideas for stories revolving around the idea of the multiverse. They range from a tournament with all kinds of weird fighters from different genres ranging from Biopunk to a priest piloting a small mech, to something exploring the concepts of reality and the idea of the self (If you know what Undertale is and you've heard of the character W.D. Gaster, it is inspired by that story).
Also, I've recently been trying to write a Post-apocalyptic super-hero story (not something like Superman: At Earth's End with super-heroes in a post-apocalyptic world, but a post-apocalyptic world that creates super-heroes if that makes sense) because I have found nothing taking advantage of what a potential goldmine it could be. The basic premise is that a scavenger finds an old super-hero comic (if it's picked up by DC, it would be Action Comics #1 and if not then I'll make something up) and the stories inspire him to travel across the remains of the country in search of anyone who would be willing to help him create a team of super-heroes called the Righteous RADicals (he doesn't quite know what radical mean, it just sounded good to him due to the nuclear hell-scape).
Sorry for making this so long, just had a few idea's I thought I'd share. What do you think of them?

Wow, thanks for the praise! I haven't worked on this idea for a while but the basic team set-up was the scavenger who wields two revolvers called the Green Gunman, a cynical outcast from a hi-tech bunker called Mr. Mechanic, an ancient big robot called D.W.A.R.F. (Department of Warfare And Recon Forces) that wants to protect eh innocent but has no idea what innocence or protecting are, a mutated fish lady in an old diving suit ashamed of her appearance but with incredible strength and durability called Mer-Maiden, a woman who after intense experimentation against her will gained telekinetic powers but also has trust issues (She would be the lone wolf of the group but has tangible reasons for wanting to go it alone) called Psyche Princess, a sniper who just wants to get paid and considers helping people a nice but not necessary side-benefit (Think Winston Zeddemore from Ghostbusters) called Quickshot and a Mad Max styled mutant/gangster with a healing factor and a less than sane mind after surviving and seeing everything he has (he may appear to be around 30 but looks can be VERY deceiving) which I thought would either be called Mad Marauder or Regenerative Degenerate shortened to Regen-Degen.
I planned out the first three seasons of an animated series with season 1 being a gathering story and the first six fighting off Maul's master's forces in the remains of Chicago with the climax being Maul rising up and slaying his master (Who had an utterly absurd last name like Pincer-rage-exterminator-roadgod). Season two had three plots involving PP and RD tracking down a killer with an MO RD claims to know, DWARF and Mr. Mechanic trying to stop an uprising against the leader in Chicago, and GG, MM and Quickshot travelling to a town called Verminillion led by Rosa Redd (not her real name) to set up a trade agreement while getting involved in an uprising against the Red Regent for her cruel acts. In the end, only PP and RD succeed while DWARF ends up accidentally killing several civilians and the others lead the rebellion but end up simply causing chaos and destruction.

Yeah, looking through this now it is just a jumbled mess and I will send you a note later to try and explain/stream-line things some more but just as a quick note, Maul and Mad Marauder/Regen-Degen are the same person and the same applies to Rosa Redd and the Red Regent (Which is a nickname the Resistance gives to her). Anything in particular you need cleared up and also, what do you think about the character designs I put so far?
As for Maul's Master's forces, I always liked the idea of them acting like something from Mad Max but dressed and talking like high society members (imagine someone in a tattered Tux running at you screaming "I shall make the best chandelier with your bones!" For some visual dissonance and also to perhaps add some creepy moments when in their base and we see Maul chained to a wall essentially wearing a potato sack.

In response to your reply, I can't draw to save my life (there are some days I consider drawing a straight line to be an achievement) and I had most character's backstories outlined to a degree along with a list of allies and enemies, locations, and various other ideas. Also something that I may not have gotten across in my description is that it something of a dark comedy, with bits ranging from the group arguing over who deserves the last chocolate bar to a 'super-villain' approaching GG, MM and Quickshot's caravan in S2 while QS is sleeping in the back of a car with him making a dramatic speech, doing some impressive fighting against some guards and right before the others can attack, Quickshot shoots him from the back and demands some damn quiet so she can sleep, prompting Mer-Maiden and Green Gunman to declare that they will make sure to never piss her off. Jokes like those always make me laugh because of the buildup and then a sudden punchline (Or in this case, bullet-line).
Also, I've recently been inspired by Blizzard's new game Overwatch to try and get back into the super hero genre and considered reviving this idea. I hate to ask this, but would you perhaps be willing to help me come up with ideas for what the characters look like?

I've already written up a basic description of five of the seven main characters below and am still hashing out the other two (Quick-shot and Maul/Regen-Degen/Mad Marauder) but I have a basic idea for how they all look. Quick-shot brings in a western inspired look with a long leather coat she skinned and made herself, a long-range rifle on he back (no scope, she has an iron-sight but still pulls off incredible shots) and a ten-gallon hat that protects her eyes from sun glare. Maul/all the other names I came up with for him I have no idea what his design is, just picture someone who has been alive for a LONG time and has virtually no sanity left who acts as both the team berserker and in rare lucid moments as the team grandfather, imparting wisdom gained from his long life to the others.

Thanks! I will admit some parts (lore and story) I've work on more than others (character design and overall visual aspects), but I like to think I have a solid base for something people would like.

From what I remember, Green Gunman wore a green longcoat and bowler hat with a black vest underneath and a belt that held his pistols, ammo and several other bits of equipment, was semi-pale from living in a bunker for a large portion of his life and was somewhat lanky with dirty brown hair and eyes. Like I said earlier, he is normally an optimist so he tends to smile and be jovial more than the rest, finding the best in almost any situation unless he gets overloaded with too much, which can cause him to shut down and become closed off to an unhealthy degree.
Mr. Mechanic was of Spanish descent, on the shorter side but built like a bull from working with heavy machinery all day, and his primary weapon was a high-tech blow-torch that doubled as both a melee weapon and he could feed it more fuel to shoot out a small stream of fire along with a nail gun and several and other odds and ends from his old job and his attire was a typical welder's uniform complete with a mask he took off whenever he was not in combat. He is like a mix of Merryman from I and JLI era J'onn J'onzz in that he tends to be a bit grumpy and is more of the unofficial leader than Gunman, because he believes he owns Gunman for saving his life when they first met after he was banished from his city and looks at his situation as, "If i'm stuck out here and this is my life now, I might as well do the best damn job I can." Thogh he does have a softer side where he does care for his team-mates and even struggles with self-confidence and worries about when/if he will fail and let everyone down.
For D.W.A.R.F, I honestly have no idea what he looks like. All I know is that he needs to be big enough for at least two people to hide behind him for cover and he is ridden into battle by Gunman at least once. I also thought it might be interesting if he tries to be like Android 16 and loves nature (when it isn't trying to kill him, that is) but he is so overflowing with weapons any time he tries to reach out to it, he ends up shooting it, blowing it up, stabbing it or Β mixture of these three.
(Cutting this one off here so it's not too long. Rest of the team coming soon.)

No, you are too generous for not only listening to my ideas/rant, but also jotting it all down(which I can assume is no easy task considering how crazy and out-of-order it is at parts) and wanting to take some part in it from what I've gathered. Just thank you, that really is all I can say.

Mer-Maiden was a character who's arc was built around her appearance and coming to terms with it and who she is, so I thought the most about hers. Her normal appearance is that of a diving suit with a helmet like this:Β sketcharound.wordpress.com/tagβ¦ Β with the glass intentionally muddied and dirtied up so that while she can still see out, no-one can see her. The suit itself is meant to be tight and restrictive, to the point where she is almost always semi-bent over and appears to be in discomfort(like when you wear a tuxedo and it's about three sizes too small). When she comes out of her shell (literally and metaphorically) and first reveals her appearance, it is meant to be a mixture of human and fish-like features that while shocking at first, can eventually be looked at as interesting and beautiful in it's own way. Other features were her being the tallest in the group at around 6'4-6'' and having very defined (though not to an insane degree) muscles that can somewhat be seen through her suit.Β
Psyche Princess is actually an albino though the same experiments that gave her her telekinesis also made her irises purple. Also, once she managed to breakout from her captors, she used her telekinesis so much and for so much from levitating about in a snooty manner to feeding herself Hedonism-Bot style that she starts to develop some baby fat to her by the time she meets the others (she is not fat, but is pudgy in a cute manner). At first, her attire consists of a hospital gown robe that she has manage to style and make look like a flowing Princess' robes. Underneath this is an ordinary set of clothes that she stole during her escape that is rarely seen because she wears the gown because it is like a security blanket and makes her look like a princess from the stories she read to keep herself sane during her experimentation days. Eventually her gown is destroyed and Mr. Mechanic and her have a bonding moment where he helps her get a new, more normal (for post-apocalyptic standards) outfit and a poncho he modifies to resemble her old gown.
(Last two coming soon.)

Yeah they are. Like I said above, I'll send a note consolidating everything and try to make everything clearer (Might make different notes for character design, story, personality and other such topics). To be honest, I was kind of afraid you didn't like it and weren't responding to me for a bit, I didn't know you had limited time to be on here, though that does explain why you haven't uploaded recently. Man, I am really a paranoid/nervous man aren't I? haha :sweatdrops:

Alright, that makes me feel a lot better. Also, sorry for assuming you would do that sort of thing, I just am really self-conscious about my ideas and what others may think about them and have a bad tendency to assume they think the worst of it. Here's to hoping you can get more time on here so we can geek out some more.
