iΒ΄m not finished with my face cause i have a little problem the ref photo of me has not enough shadows itΒ΄s really bright...and now i dun know what to do if i would leave it very bright i think it would look weird cause the rest is so dark....what you think?click on download to see the details better (size 1024x 768 pixel)

I think that you should more correct the palm. It looks like cutted with knives. Too sharp lines like some wounds or scars.

As far as the brightness of the face, maybe once you get all the background done, you'll know which way to go. I like how the face stands out, but I kind of think it would be better not quite as bright. Or if you keep it that bright, wonder if it would look good if the hand was just a little brighter?

wow ,very cool ! I think if you modify the brightness and shadowing to what you think looks best , you'll be happier with the results and you will have improved the image to an artistic level . It's obvious you have the skills to do this .

Wow Anne! I think it looks awesome ... Nice facial details and especially the details in your hand! You're so way beyond my talent .. I don't feel I'm qualified to give you advice.
But I will say I agree with a few others that suggested to darken your face just a little bit .. but not much .. wouldn't want you hiding all the great details you've put so much effort in applying there.
I can't wait to see it .. when you're finally finished!

I think you should go darker in the face and put more darks in the usual shade area like around nose below mouth and sides of the face also below and above eyes and go fo a midtone for the rest. Go gradually, and look at and then decide if you need to go darker.

Hmm well the background is really dark, so I think the best thing would be if you darken the face just a little more. Not too much, just a little

I think it would work either way depending on what you want to achieve. The hand is very prominant, but i think the lighter face helps draw the eye from hand to face. If it was darker it might fit the overall tone better, but may not have the same presence.
Looks great, cant wait to see it finished. The detail in the hand is amAZIING xx

I really like the light face. Maybe you could just lighten the hand a little. Make it look like the subject is reaching for the light almost.

I think that if you left the face so bright, it would throw off the light source since the hand is so dark. I love how dark it is... almost adds a more symbolic feel to it! It's looking amazing!!!
