Description doodles of winry that i fiiiinally finished aaa

Okay so!! i also wanna say winry is up for interactions but explain some of her family background:

Winry is a part of a family that, for generations, has a belief that they have incurred the wrath of a powerful fae. This family tale has been passed down, and results in most of the family being very superstitious. Those who don't believe usually end up ostracized, and any mishaps can be blamed on fae.

From the time they hatch, wynglings in the Wayward family are kept a close eye on until they're old enough to be considered safe from the dangers of being replaced by changelings (or spites/"fae" that resemble changelings). Their houses are protected by iron wards and salt circles, and nearly all children, when they are old enough to leave the home, are taught to always wear something iron - for example, the pin holding Winry's bandana on is made of iron. They also believe that pets have an excellent sense of supernatural activity, so young children are often given companion pets (like Winry's Melon!) to keep them safe and help to assure parents that their baby hasn't been swapped.

When they are considered old enough to wander around on their own at least somewhat freely, they finally get to pick a name - one that will prevent them from telling anyone their true name. Names hold power, after all, and giving someone your true name gives them power over you. Winry's chosen name is Quest, so if you want to show her interacting with your wynglings, that's the name she'll give.

That being said, Winry doesn't exactly fully believe in her family's story of the curse and the grudge of the fae. She thinks they're being paranoid, mostly, and likes to find places to be left alone by her family and make new friends. Unfortunately for her, her runeboo Melon is more than a little bit of a spoilsport.
